The cottage is situated in the Cairngorm National Park and has wonderful views of the mountains. It stands alone overlooking the RSPB Insh marshes and is close to the Highland Wildlife Park. Kingussie is closeby and good for local shopping. Aviemore, with all its tourist facilities,is only 8 miles away.Closeby is the Loch Insh water sports centre with facilities for boating and windsurfing.It serves snacks and meals and has a small beach and excellent playparks. The whole area has excellent cycle tracks. There are golf courses at Kingussie and Newtonmore.Nethybridge and Carrbridge have 9 hole courses.Landmark Adventure park at Carrbridge is a great day out for all the family.

The cottage is by a railway crossing used by the farmer to move his sheep but children should be supervised out of doors. It is a cosy cottage with a woodburner and oilfire central heating included in the price. There are two double bedrooms with room for a cot or junior bed in one bedroom. The bathroom has a powerful over bath shower. There is a large garden and room to park 2 cars. The cottage is fully furnished.

Guests are asked to provide their own sheets duvet covers and towels and to tidy the cottage before they leave. Well behaved pets are welcome. However there are sheep nearby and therefore dogs should not be out unaccompanied. Pets should not be allowed in the bedrooms.
