Web Developer, Cottages & Castles

Cottages & Castles are Scotland’s largest independent holiday property letting agency, and are expanding rapidly. Our website and web based booking system are at the core of our business and we are looking to recruit a developer to increase our capacity to develop new sites and systems, and maintain and support our existing ones.

Duties include
• Designing, developing, maintaining, testing and supporting web software including CMS driven websites, a bespoke booking system, and image libraries.

• Performing Linux systems administration and support.

• Manage the in house trouble ticket system, providing first line user support.

Based in Inverness this is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.

Demonstrable Knowledge of the following is essential:

• Web software development tools
o MySQL
o Php
o Javascript
o CSS
o HTML

• Linux operating system commands and utilities
