Commercial Gas Engineer
Qualified Industrial Gas Engineers, with a good knowledge of HVAC and Mechanical & Electrical maintenance is required for a contract with a National Retail Chain based in Inverness.
The successful candidate should have a strong mechanical background for planned and reactive maintenance covering gas boilers and HVAC maintenance.
Duties include:
- To safely and efficiently install, maintain and repair plant and equipment
- To carry out diagnostic and fault finding to all plant and equipment
- Maintain plant, PPM, personal and vehicle records in accordance with company operating procedures
- To carry out routine servicing and commissioning to plant and equipment
- Identify areas for additional works within and out of the specified contractual requirements and report these promptly to the Supervisor, with the estimated material costs and labour requirements
Combustion engineers will require either:
Core CCN1 up to 70Kw (domestic) with Commercial Changeover (CODNC01) for over 70Kw appliances or Core COCN1 Commercial over 70Kw
Appliances
CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, Pipework, ICPN1, Tightness Testing, TPCP1A and TPCP1
The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of City and Guilds (or equivalent) but should preferably have and HNC, in a relevant qualification. They should have served time as an apprenticeship or followed a recognised formal training programme and have post-training experience. They should be able to cope under pressure and have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Full driving license is essential as travel maybe required between sites.
Salary for this post is from £30000-33000 per annum.
