Production Leader - Inverness

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 pa

Our client is a leading pioneer of fresh food processing in the Scottish Highlands.

The role:
To lead by example, looking after people, processes, materials, equipment and maximising productivity.
You will have a real sense of purpose and make a huge difference in the running of a production line, adding value and giving your production team the opportunity of a genuine career.

Skills and experience:
• Familiar with a food manufacturing environment
• Supervising small teams up to 10 people
• A good problem solving aptitude
• Good administrative and computer skills
• Giving regular 360° formative and motivational feedback
• Familiar with H&S responsibilities
• Familiarity with automated and labour intensive production lines
• Working with a Quality system ensuring compliance
• Understand organic standards
• Reduction of wastage
• Staff holiday, attendance and performance records
