Our Dingwall client has been expanding his business and now requires a pizza chef to work within its premises in the centre of Dingwall.

Duties will include preparing dough from raw ingredients, preparing the assorted mixes and toppings used on a daily basis, ensuring these are kept refrigerated and in separate containers, preparing all pizzas freshly once ordered and cooking them, ensuring work surfaces, fridges and freezers are kept clean at all time and that the kitchen complies with all regulations imposed by the Environmental Health Authorities within Highland Council.

The candidate will also take orders from individuals and by telephone, serve customers and carry out the full range of duties normally associated with a fast food outlet.

The successful candidate, regardless of age, will require to spend several hours at a time standing and working in an often very warm atmosphere, working with machines which can get quite hot.

Regarding skills required, some experience of food cooking and preparation is expected though as long as the successful candidate is enthusiastic and keen both to learn new skills and work hard, all candidates will be considered.
