This advert is for 2 persons to fill the positions of commis chef & Housekeeper/Restaurant staff in a small family run hotel. The job would start asap & would continue through the winter if possible. Interviews will be done over the phone starting from next Monday.

Accommodation in the hotel & food is provided as part of your package. Average week would be 5 days working 40 hours, the 2 days off would be together during the week (when possible).

We are a small 3* hotel with 14 bedrooms, located in a small village just outside Inveraray. The citylink bus 926 stops directly outside the hotel & is only 2 hours from Glasgow. We are very busy in the summer but indifferent over the winter, so an amount of flexibility is required with regard to working front of house & back of house.

Restaurant/Housekeeping.
You would have responsibility for laundry, cleaning, bar stock & customer liason(Good English is a must). Duties would also include some administration, laundry, cleaning, bar work, restaurant work & the occasional breakfast shift!

Commis Chef
You would have responsibility for helping to run the jkitchen on the head chefs 2 days off & also working with the chef at the weekends when we are at our busiest. You maybe asked to work breakfast on occasions too.


Both candidates must be self motivated, have a good sense of humour, reliable, responsible, honest, hardworking, flexible, open-minded, professional and relatively easy to live with! It is essential that you are happy to enjoy quite a quiet place as the nearest town is a 10 minute bus trip.
