"The Book"

Covering letter on Power station headed paper.

The book provided herein contains the first three chapters of John Bongiovi: The Power Station Years 1980 - 1983, The Making of a Superstar by Tony Bongiovi. The book, told in my words, is an actual account of how I came to develop a young inexperienced high school senior into a Rock & Roll Superstar. The Book is an excellent accompaniment to the CD.

This is the first time that the true story has been told. For the sake of my family, in particular, my father, mother, and Aunt Elizabeth (Jon's grandmother) I chose not to publish these facts in the hopes that Jon and I would reconcile. After many failed attempts of reconciliation on my part, and Jon's fierce determination to destroy me in the press, I felt compelled to tell the whole story. This preview only begins to tell the story...

The Album and the book are both available for licensing at this time. The licensee may at their discretion elect to package these items together.

Tony Bongiovi is presently planning a promotional tour in support of the book and Album. Inquiries to date indicate a great deal of interest for the book and CD in television, radio and print media throughout the European territories, particularly the United Kingdom and Germany.

We of course will assist you and cooperate in any manner neccesary in the promotion and marketing of this project to insure its ultimate success.

The ring binded 'draft', which never made it to print, as a legal case was used to settled differences some what. The 50 page draft has a lot of the history relating to the start of Jon Bon Jovi's career. The draft contains copies of early photographs of Jon together with a load of pages containing copies of receipts etc relating to Power Station Records and Jon Bon Jovi's early recording beginnings, with these pages stamped in red with a draft stamp. It finishes with two early song sheet copies from 1982, 'Who said it would last forever' and 'More than we bargained for'..... both hand written copies with caption ' words & music by John Bongiovi - Jim Polles.
