There are several other beaches within a couple of miles which provide good fishing, surfing and access for launching small boats. This magnificent stretch of open scenery provides for a wide variety of short local excursions (e.g Sandwood Bay, Cape Wrath, Golf in Durness, Handa Island) This is a simple family cottage not aiming to cater for sophisticated needs. This area has what remains of a crofting way of life, it is therefore most important this is respected, so please email me if you wish to take a dog The newly converted barn annex offers a large play area (ideal for children on rainy day)
