Construction & Property Recruitment ltd are currently looking for a Site Manager to work for an established construction company that have just open their new offices in Inverness. The company have over 40 years trading experience and a multi million pound turnover. The project Manager is required to work on a DESIGN & BUILD project valued at 7 million pound.

As a Project Manager, you will have overall control of the contract and, as such, must be aware and in control of all aspects of site operations, including the planning of site progress. The agent has responsibility for both the profitability of operations and adherence to the agreed construction and cost plans.

Typical work activities include:

•leading regular site meetings with professionals, including quantity surveyors, building services engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and the client who has commissioned the project;
•maintaining strict quality control procedures - this necessitates regular testing of materials, visual inspections of work, and frequent tours of the site;
•conducting regular site safety checks;
•ensuring the project runs to schedule and to budget, and finding solutions to problems that may cause delays, i.e. late arrival of materials.

We are looking for Project Manager from any location that would be prepared to join our client on a permanent/staff basis and work from the Highland Headquarters. We require candidates to be suitably qualified in construction with a trades background or hold a recognised diploma in building construction and ideally be working as a Site Manager for a building contractor.
